We’ll meet at the Sun Valley Co-op Parking lot at 9:00 AM, departing for Carman at 9:30. Our destination is Syl’s Drive Inn, where we’ll have a mini car show, and lunch there.
We’ll leave there at 1:15 PM, with our final destination being the Second Chance Car Museum in Treherne, at Railway Ave. and Venzile Street. The owner allows free storage of classic cars and trucks for the locals. It’s a huge building, and the admission is by donation. You can leave at your own time frame when you’re finished viewing what’s there.
We need advance registration so we can alert Syl’s as to how many to expect, and also the car museum. You can text me at 204 324-7569, or email me at donelias46 @gmail.com. I would need final numbers by Friday, Sept. 22nd.
If you want to see the fall colours, a nice way home would be to go straight down to Notre Dame, then turn down Hwg. 23 toward Miami where you will get a great view from the top of the Pembina Valley.
